My worry is due to your height a Husky may fit your girth, but you will have way too much in shoulders you really need a custom vest made for you...

Hmmm...  This could be a problem.

At present, my budget is so tight it practically squeaks.

Can you give me a rough estimate of costs?

Depends on what you need I need see pics you wear a STOCK one to see where the problem areas are... If its simple mod for radio and clips those prices all on my site...  If it needs alterations for fitting them its more... I would say $75-150 depending on what all you need?

In short, take a picture of yourself from the front, side, & back wearing the vest so that Ryan can get an idea of how it fits on you and what kind of alterations might be needed.

My mistake, I meant ALICE straps, or whatever they are in the back. Slap some velcro on one or two of them and you have a spot to put a patch on the back.

Prob be easier to make some Velcro loops for the ALICE strap that way could be removed totally when needed for maybe SG stuff...

Would I perhaps be better off trying to sell it?

That might not be a bad idea, it would get you some money that could go towards a modified husky vest from Ryan.

Ok.  What sort of price should I be asking for it?  A rough estimate will do.

Talk to Ryan, he may be willing to take the vest in trade for a new one or at least for a discount on a new one plus mods.
